bitter sweet

university is doing my head in already, i wonder how intense its gonna feel later on ... is it really all worth it? i mean the books, the studying, the knowledge. i guess i'll just have to wait and find out.
here are some photos from my trip overseas, i wish to start a DA or something to post my photos but lately i have been inundated with things to do, notes to be written, numerous forms to be filled out ...

we went to numerous temples and buddha gardens in thailand and burma. it was wonderful, i delved deeper into what faith really meant and also learnt more about buddhism. i promised myself i would learn more when i got back to australia since there was limited books on buddhism in english over there but since i've been so busy i haven't had time to really fulfil this :(
that makes me sad, because the history and teachings of buddhism are really interesting. i've been surrounded by the buddhist faith around me since birth but i never really gave a marked interest to the history of how it all began. my mum always asked me to read about it but back then i always found 'better' things to do with my time.
now that i have no time, i regret it.

i was thinking, right, something i actually do a lot, about things that have changed from last year- already.
but i should go lay and rest since i have to wake up early and catch the bus to uni- definitely something i am NOT used to.
