A long needed spiel

Hi there long lost friend.
I'm so so so sorry that I have not updated in so long. So much has happened, is happening- so much so that at times I wish I could just pause.
Still be my friend?

Well for the past month I did have times at foreign internet cafes on the corner of dirty and dingy streets overseas that I tried to access Blogger to let you know about my whereabouts. Little did I know that CENSORSHIP would take control over my life, maybe not for the first time in my life, but have a marked influence on my daily habits.

So I stopped previously at my feelings, prior receiving my TEE results. I was glad to find out that they were much higher than I expected. I felt that all my hard work, pressure on my joints and brain cells to near explosion has paid off and was worth it :)
In the next few days was New Years Eve/ New Years and I was extremely excited to finally let go of all my stress from 2009 and feel refreshed for 2010. Awfully cliche, I know. But  who doesn't like the feeling of buying new calendars, new diaries, new stationary, and letting go AND reflecting on the past year.
After the NY celebrations, the next few days included me getting ready for my family trip in South East Asia and also bidding goodbye to new and old friends because I would be gone for a long time.

It is hard to express my opinion of my holiday over typed words because you would need added Annie face expressions, hand movements, and the variation of tone to get the full verdict. I will upload photos in the next few days for your eyes to explore and indulge.

So how has everyone elses Summer holidays been? I sure enjoyed mine : ) I also got my university offer whilst I was overseas. So this year, starting in two weeks, I shall be doing Podiatric Medicine. Mmm- different, I know. But that's what I wanted. Something that I really felt interested in (not feet but the human body) but also challenging at the same time.

I've been back from overseas for just over a week now. The transition from the hustle and bustle of Asia to Australia has not yet completed and I don't know if want to fully transceded into Australian lifestyle just yet.

Well I'm off to the library to borrow some books and catch up on some reading.
Till then my friends,
Annie xoxo

I've always wanted to go to Asia. It seems so foreign and so culturally different, it probably isn't all that different, but maybe something culturally different is what I need.

Libraries are always good, I always make trips and read endless hours.

Asia is definitely different, physically and culturally, but it's nice to get away from this scene once in a while :)
