So this morning, somehow, my MacBook manages to slide off my bed and vertically hit the metal legs of my chair. After having that momentary "OHMYGODOHMYGODOHMYGOD", I prepared myself for the worst. Especially cause my MacBook has been through so much already, not so much for the chair though. I pick it up and see this huge black scratch along the side- worse than any thing I have put my poor Mac through. I touch the wound tenderly with so much sorrow only to realise that if I rub it, it comes straight off! And then the relieved feeling rushes through, to find that, instead, it is the metal leg that has been hurt.

YES! WIN! MAC 1 - METAL LEG 0

If I was my Mac, I wouldn't be looking forward to the Karma it has coming for her from the metal leg.

Anywhoooooooooooos, here's some visual stimuli;

This is definitely a story for the kids. It involved walking murky puddles, seeing a death commemoration, making Tash stand in the smelly river in a garment that highly mirrored a KKK outfit, watching the men in canoes row past for over an hour, and getting our shoes soaked in brown water (my Docs got ruined and I can't say much for Seth's work dress shoes. I guess his fault for dressing inappropriately)

Jack's back from England :) :) Last weekend, him and Jo were named the best ballroom dancing couple in Australia!!! But that is, until his next comp which is in two weeks- meaning he is leaving again. But this time it won't be for long so my mid year break won't be too lonely (since everyone's going away) sigh

Early morning, Ashleigh and I had an intense conversation. Afterwards before beddie byes, she enticed me to a (later) morning date of Lawleys, rejecting my exam study. So, so worth it. Cold morning, warm mocha and sweet petite fours :)

Although I have been hooched up in this room for far too long; breathing the same air, hearing the same hollow drip sound rain makes on the bricks around my window, my handwriting gradually becoming less legible by the word; I have come across so much creativity and individuality through art/ music that Perth currently has to offer. On the usual late night/ early morning cruises I take through Flickr, Tumblr, Blogger & FB, I have been exposed to psyches of humans I have never met. The sounds and images that permeate through my screen reveal to me thoughts, secrets, ideas and inner desires. Apart from so much inspiration brimming through the tips of my fingertips, I start to wonder why people seem to bag this city so much.

I kind of do like feeling secure, knowing the in and outs of everything, where's dodgy where's not. Which bar serves the best cocktails and which hangouts on Saturday nights have the best eye-candy. Places where you can just get high and look at the sky, or go get the best pastries in Perth ever [LAWLEYS!! IMAGE FIVE ;) ] Shortcuts to ride your bike to your friends house, or even just riding it at 4 in the morning and knowing nothings gonna happen (if you stay safe I suppose hehe)
Or even things that you don't really matter, like, the fluctuations of school kids on the bus, the frequency of trends appearing and extinguishing, and even people.

But, as I do say that, the intent of running away and moving gets intensified almost everyday.

So much love for our Macs! I have to admit I treat mine like my second child. The first being Ringo :D
